The Greytown Arts Festival is excited to present an evening of Blues music at Cafe Trends. Join us on this Blues journey focusing on the history of the Blues in America from it's origins in the plantation fields through Gospel and the country blues of the Mississippi Delta to the electric Blues of today. You can expect three strong sets progressing though the evolution of the music genre.
We will be featuring some of our best Wairarapa Blues Musicians, including Bob Cooper-Grundy, Kate Marshall and Pat McKenna.
Peter Icke of Cafe Trends will be providing food and drink from 5:00pm onwards. Come early to claim good seats and have a glass of wine and a tasty pre-concert bite. Peter will be serving food off the BBQ featuring the flavors of the American South with plates offered at recession breaking prices of $10.00 and under.
